Vegetarian cooking classes
The Vegetarian Cooking School, Veet’s Cuisine offers private classes to individuals or couples in the Mullumbimby area of Northern NSW. The classes will be tailored to the individual’s needs. The class can be as long as the participant likes with a minimum of 3 hours.
Cost for one person
$250 for the first hour which includes all the produce and cookbook and other relevant resources.
$130 per hour for the other hours.
Cost for two people
$350 for the first hour which includes all the produce and cookbook and other relevant resources.

Delicious and Nutritious
In this workshop you will learn a variety of simple and easy recipes that you will feel confident in trying out at home. The recipes will include, snacks, entrees, mains, drinks and desserts. The recipes will come from the ‘Veet’s Cuisine’ cook book and also some brand new recipes Veet has to share. There will be a theme called ‘a little bit around the world’ where we will explore different flavours from world cuisines. All recipes will be gluten-free and Veet will show you how to adapt them for your particular dietary requirements.
In this workshop you will learn a variety of different recipes that have an Asian flavour yet incorporate the produce that we can source in Australia, maximising local ingredients. The recipes will come from the ‘Veet’s Cuisine’ cook book and also some brand new recipes Veet has to share. All recipes will be gluten-free and Veet will show you how to adapt them for your particular dietary requirements.
This workshop is based on the book Veet is currently writing. You will go to the local farmers market with Veet and purchase the fruits and vegetables at the market, then take them back and explore ways to make creative meals with the produce that is in season that week. The recipes made during the class will be recorded and you will receive these recipes within a few days after the workshop. It will teach you how to adapt and be spontaneous with your meal preparation. All recipes will also be gluten-free.
Vegan recipes will be prepared in this workshop. We will explore recipes that are rich in complete protein and iron. Preparing entrees, mains, snacks, drinks and desserts. All recipes will be gluten-free and we will also look at non vegan recipes and explore ways of making them vegan, ensuring each meal contains the right amount of complete protein. You will receive all recipes covered in this class within a few days after the workshop.
Fresh and Vibrant
Simple raw food recipes, where the minimum of equipment is needed. Vibrant raw food that makes you feel fresh and healthy. We will make snacks, soups, desserts, salads, main dishes, nut cheeses and spreads. All recipes will come from Veet’s new book ‘Fresh and Vibrant’ simple raw food recipes. All recipes will be gluten-free and vegan.
This workshop will focus on an array of gluten-free desserts and cakes. We will also make chai and a few other drinks. Looking also at easy ways to decorate cakes. You will receive a copy of all the recipes covered in this workshop.
I did a raw cooking class with Veet and must admit, being my first cooking class and not having much knowledge of raw eating I was very skeptical about what to expect. Veet’s class however did not disappoint!From the time I arrived Veet put me at ease. She is both humble and approachable and her knowledge of food and nutrition was so beneficial. It was extremely hands on, the food provided was fresh, recipes were delicious and I loved that we got to sit and enjoy the meals as a group during and after the class. My daughter and I attended one of Veet’s cooking classes and had a wonderful day in every way. We both found Veet to be warm and welcoming but very professional and knowledgeable in her approach to her teaching.The food she uses is locally sourced and organic. She catered for differing food likes, dislikes and intolerances that anyone had in the group without any problem and all done in a cheerful and obliging manner. The class was held in her home and because everyone cooked together a lovely atmosphere was created where learning happened almost without noticing. We all sat down to eat the many dishes we had cooked and agreed it was delicious and nourishing and the best part was knowing we were all capable of cooking any of those dishes in the future as the recipes were simple and easy to follow and Veet gave us a bound recipe book to take home as well. I was lucky to have met Veet on a Yoga retreat whilst in the Byron Bay area. She was responsible for preparation and presentation for raw organic foods during our three day stay at the retreat. The food she prepared and the combinations were not only nutritional, but truly an inspiration and very unique. The cakes were very inspiring for me, as I am such a sweet tooth. I was very eager to learn, how to collect and present raw food in a whole new loving way.
